My room is a safe haven. A place where I snuggle under thick comforters, and read by candlelight. Where the soft muted colors of the walls and ceiling calm me, while the vibrant colors of the accents and bedding revive my worn spirits. It's a comfortable place, where my husband and I talk over our day. Very few of the world's distractions are allowed beyond the door.

Well, I live in a dorm. So aside from being rather small, it has two of everything: beds, computers, chairs, closets. It is also quite messy, although we did clean up today because the maid is coming. One of the great ironies: cleaning so it can be cleaned.

We've got candy everywhere and a fridge full of soda. Books clutter the shelves and the floors, along with various papers, crumpled or not. Picture frames (with pictures inside), lamps, small figurines. Yep, home, at least for this year.

A cosy haven away from the noise, hustle & bustle of the outside world!

It has luxurious green, cream & aubergine colours, they match better than they sound! With big fluffy sheets & lamps to dimly light up the darker corners.

I feel safe & secure there & the colours make me feel creative.

boring and plain, The white walls are killing me. I am surrounded by pictures from my wedding and family members. My entertainment center is starting to get dated. My son pulls my shoes out and gives them to me hinting he wants to go outside. My living room, is full of palm tree, and I don't think we will be living here long enough to change it. My kitchen..oh my goodness, where do I start..My husband does construction with his father to learn the business and let's just say, nothing gets finished. My son's room who is 2 is the cleanest room in the house

I assume you mean my bedroom?

Antique sleigh-bed and matching mirrored vanity and dresser. Subtle browns/beiges in colors ..a little ivy green. Old fashioned. Double down comforter (no TV), but I do keep a stereo in my bedroom.
