Certainly. Arabic influence over the whole European Continent is undeniable. Words such as alcohol, almond, algebra [not only the word, but algebra itself] come from arab words.

Hope it helps.

To be honest, most of the words in that list are not exactly everyday words. In Spanish there are thousands of Arabic-derived words, as Arabic was the dominant language of culture there for hundreds of years.

However, as the world becomes more cosmopolitan, and become come to know more about Islam and Muslim cultures, I think we will find more Arabic vocabulary becoming common. Words like halal, haram, hijab, inshallah, etc, are becoming known in UK, though still only used inspecifically Muslim contexts.
