I got my sofas from Argos in Belfast a couple of years ago. I got a 3 seater and a 2 seater for £600 or something like that. They are fine for the money but not nearly as good quality as my parents suite that cost 3 times the price from a local furniture store. Argos furniture is fine for the money. I didnt want to pay a fortune and be stuck with furniture I'm bored of. I tend to sit in the same seat the whole time and it's going a bit saggy now compared to the other seats that are like new.
All in all, they are grand. I'm very happy with them. I think it took over a month for delivery cos they were out of stock or something and they will deliver when suits them, not when suits you. They will let you know however if they will be there in the morning or the afternoon so I only ever had to take a half day off work when getting stuff delivered. A friend of mine, also in Belfast, got sofas from Argos last week. The sofas arrived about 8pm the evening before they were due to come. She hadnt cleared out her old furniture and in fact was just about to go out so it was lucky she was in as the driver said he wanted to take the next day off work - he was taking the p**s really.
Good luck.

Where ever you get your leather from you will get what you pay for. Leather has come down in price an awful lot recently simply because there is so much available (driven by the burger industry) and they have found amny different ways of preparing leather now so they can use a lot more of what is produced for furniture.
Full grain is still the best quality leather whether it is aniline or pigment. The more you pay the better the quality will be.
Leather as a product is extremely hard wearing and can last a lifetime if the surface finish is looked after and cared for.
Use a water based cleaner and put a leather protector on as soon as you purchase it. Wipe ovedr with a damp cloth every week to remove surface dirt and clean with a foam cleaner for leather every 2 -3 months. You should reprotect every 6-12 months depending on the type of leather (more often on aniline and pale colours).

My Sofas from argos are OK. I went for fabric not leather and the quality is fine. I think anything at the top end of the argos price range will be ok.
On delivery....Argos are a nightmare. You pay up front and they wanted to tell ME when they would deliver them. Honestly, the idea is that they would phone me in 3 weeks with a delivery date.
The delivery date passed and no sofas. after phoning several times they delivered one sofa and then I had to wait one and a half weeks for the other!
Don't let it put you off though as the sofas are fine and I've had them six months now.

I bought a sofa from Argos two years ago, it has lasted OK, looks a little saggy where we sit most often. I have 2 cats and 2 kids and it looks reasonable-If it can take that abuse it must be alright.

My sister got one, 2 weeks after she ordered it, and just one hour later her cat badly scratched the side of it . They are comfortable but don't buy if you're going to let your dog / cat / parrot anywhere near it.
