it seems like mom doesn't like the way you keep changing your mind - to go to school, not to go to school. if she's paying the bill for college, she's probably afraid it's a waste of money. why don't you talk to a college counselor and get some advice on what you you should major in. it really does help if you get focused on what you would like to become. it would also show your mom that you are very SERIOUS in what you are planning with your life; and, with or without her help, you will graduate college - and, if need be, get a part time job to prove to her that you mean business...and, the biggest part - REALLY MEAN IT! Show her that you are mature enough and keep going to school, once you start, until you graduate. then mom and you can look back on these days of undecided and laugh-knowing you made the right decision. let me be the first to congratulate the college graduate (a little, premature, i know, but i bet you get there.)
good luck!

Maybe your mom felt you weren't all that into college and if she's paying for it, maybe she felt it was a waste of time and money since you've previously said you didn't want to go back in the spring, but then changed your mind, and are undecided about your life goals. You should really consider what you want to do with your life, make a commitment to do it, and work hard.

Go back and take all the classes you can without declaring a major. Eventually, the number of available classes will become less until you select a major.

I think you know what you want to do, keep at it, You are right to get the classes out of the way, so stick to it, and do it, the major can come later, with no problem. Just do not make it and issue with your mom, just try and keep the peace.

You should be talking to a career counselor at the school. While it's it's your life, it sounds like your mom is paying the bills, and that mucks things up. A counselor can help you sort through this....that's why they're there.
