It's difficult to decipher your question....you're either really, really young or didn't pay attention in school. You do seem nice however. You'll figure out how to 'break out of your shell' as you go along, through trial and error like most of us did, and you'll start when you find someone special that catches your eye. You'll have a strong enough desire to get to know that special person so that your shyness won't matter. It'll be more natural than you think it will. And flirting take many forms and is sometimes very subtle--although there has been many a person that misread the signals from another person and found out too late that their attention wasn't wanted. That's all part of it, and that's okay as long as you don't freak the person out w/stalking or scary behavior. All in good time young one. Good Luck

Though I do agree with Keith, I understand what you are trying to ask. Most women make eye contact first and then she will keep looking. That's how you know she's interested. Another thing is the way she laughs, if she laughs and hits you...she likes you. Ummm, when I like a guy...I'll just tell em'! Take a chance! The worst thing he can say is no, in which case I don't want him anyway! LOL!

The always laughing around u, laughing at your jokes, or smiling around you. They talking about how lonely they are. They listen to you we you talk to them. The have that firtly look in there face. Some girls just tell you that they like you.
You should just ask the girl out if they are flirting with you
