Money from SS can be used for whatever you want. As long as you could afford it without lacking priorities, I'd say it's okay.

As far as I know there are no restrictions on how Social Security payments are spent. I do wonder why you are receiving Social Security if you don't have other priorities for spending the money. But, I am not the government.

You can spend your money any way you like from social security. However, if the money is supposed to be used to care for dependent children (if you're widowed and receiving dependent benefits), you may have some issues from child welfare agencies. Other than things like the WIC program and food stamps, there really aren't any "strings" on government money.

It depends, for some people they have to give a listing on how they spent their money or even have an agency to manage their money. If this is not your case, then you can use your money any way you want.

Once they cut you a check, you can spend it all on hookers if you want. Just drop it in the bank and cash it out.
