Yes. The only time the "private land" thing is relevant, is if it is farmland and the property belongs to you. You can't hire someone to use equipment on your land if they are required to have a license, and don't. As far as age goes, your own private property ...any age your stupid enough to let your kids drive it. As far as those hired goes, they have to be an adult..age depending on the state.

Yes those golf carts are considered motor vehicles and believe it or not some people get into accidents in them sometimes and you could get in trouble so could your boss
