I think the risk associated with a condom for prevention is around 80% or better, as long as you use it correctly. DON'T store it in a hot/cold place or somewhere where it gets rubbed (like a wallet) because it weakens it and makes it more likely to break. Don't double wrap (use two at once, one over the other) because that'll make it break. It won't fall off as long as he's hard, if he's not totally hard, it might slip off.

It can happen. Thats why they say on the box they are only like 98% effective. I mean I have had them fall off but nothing has gone wrong. But I also am in a long term relationship and on birth control.
SO for me the risks are less for pregnancy and as far as I hope for STD's. Both of us have been tested due to surgery and we are both Monogamous (as far as I know).
If you can't handle the consequences then you are not ready to have sex.

I've always used a condom. But sh*t can still happen. It is said that abstinence is the best way to go,which is true, but most people still go out and have some fun.W/o a condom, the risks just increase because there's nothing inbetween.

I've never had a problem with condoms, but I'm on the pill now. When my partner did use a condom, sometimes it wouldn't go on correctly the first time, but I never got pregnant because of it.

I had two break on me, but she didn't get pregnant.
I never contracted any disease on those rare occasions when I didn't use one.
Condoms are safe and reliable if they break it most likely because of human error... didn't you know there were like 10 steps to putting on a condom...

Good questions. I take it you are very young.
First, abstainance is the best protection. But if you think you are ready (I dont) then visit your nearest clinic or doctors office and just ask for information. At least you are thinking about protection.
If you use them properly, you shouldnt have a problem. The good ones are gonna cost you. Can you afford them?

Nope, no to all ur questions. You have to use it right. read the directions before putting it on. having yes to all ur answers means the person did not use a condom at all or they misused it.,

I was with 1 guy who apparently didn't use it properly and I did in fact become pregnant. Wait to have sex, but if you don't educate yourself as much as possible. Remember there are no dumb questions.
