Very rarely will you be able to tithe with your credit card.
First, there is a cost incurred for each credit card transaction processed by the church.
Second, spiritually, I don't think credit cards should be considered money.
Credit cards = debt.
Paul's charge to us to owe nothing but love in Romans 13:8 is a powerful reminder of God's distaste for all forms of debt. The Bible neither expressly forbids or allows the borrowing of money. The wisdom of the Bible teaches us that it is usually not a good idea to go into debt. Debts essentially makes us a slave to the one we owe.
I would try to figure out another way to tithe without using your credit card.

Pay tithing before you pay anything else. That way, you won't have to use a credit card. I personally would view Social Security money as income that should be tithed. Talk to your bishop, though, to clarify.
When you pay the Lord first, you will be blessed. See Malachi 3:10-12 http://scriptures.lds.org/en/mal/3
It's worked for me! I've paid 10% tithing all of my life. I've never had a circumstance where I was out of a job when I needed it (even through very awkward and difficult times in my personal life).

If the point is to document that you are giving to the church, the church should be able to provide a receipt of some sort. They keep track of gifts to provide annual giving statements for income tax deductions anyway. I doubt a statement for Social Security would require much additional work on the church's part.
If I misinterpreted the reason for using a card, just ignore this answer.

It's good that you want to tithe and there are churches that will accept credit cards, usually the large ones. You should just contact some of the larger churches in your area. If, not I'd find a Christian charity to give to.

Part of me's tempted to tell you just to send it to me, but in all seriousness your local chuch probably has a system set up for people who prefer to do that. I'd ask the Clergy at your local chuch. They'd know best.

Tithing is paid out of what you earn....repeat: You EARN.
Until you EARN, you can't tithe. Receiving SS benefits is receiving tithing from others.
Get it?
