ok so my boyfriends sister who is a little younger than i has a baby and i see how my boyfriend gives her attention i mean of course he's the uncle right. Well the daddy isnt in the picture and i feel that the baby is seeing my boyfriend as a dad. I feel jealous because i want a baby and he always tells me were too young and we have to get our career started and this and that but i wish he would give the attention he gives to the baby to our own. I dont know its driving me crazy and i feel horrible for being jealous. Is it right what im feeling?

Sounds like you got a really family oriented young man.
He's right about wanting a foundation in place before bringing kids into the world. 19 years ago I had my first child. I was 28. I wonder sometimes if I shouldn't have waited. Or at least finished college. There are things I cannot give my children because I do not have the earning power. It hurts.
Enjoy being Uncle Mario and Aunt Boo. Allow yourself the luxury of admiring this young man's affection to the child. Know he will be a good dad and can make good decisions. Try to support him when he makes the hard decisions, like waiting. He's trying to do what he thinks is best.
It's very hard to be in a relationship where you are making positive decisions and constantly being second-guessed or undermined. If he makes a good decision, support it. He sounds like a good fellow. See if you can keep him.

don't be! It is natural to feel something every one does! I don't know how young you are, but if your bf is saying that you are too young then you are. wait, time is on your side. it is best to accomplish all before you have kids, once you have them you will have a hard time trying to get out just the two of you. Answer this: Don't you just goggle when you see a baby, everyone does. relax it will be alright!

no, it's not wrong, but you have to understand that the baby is brand new, and you boyfriend is excited for his sister. they must have a good relationship. you should be happy for her too, that way you can get to know the baby and be the best aunt you can be, then, when your boyfriend thinks he wants to have children too, you'll have experience with children and your boyfriend's sister will probably help you with you baby if you helped her with her's.

Yes, it`s wrong. He is the child`s uncle and an important male role model; his attentions will help this child to grow into a healthy adult. Your BF is right: you are too immature to have a baby. Having a child so he will pay more attention to you is ... obscene.
