Give her a wrong phone # and hope you never run into her again.
Try some other stores to shop at.

Lol, that is funny! Got yourself in a pickle. Now that you've exchanged numbers, (I assume you gave your real number?), then just ignore the calls, and hope she gets the hint that you don't want to be sociable. You can always answer it, be nice, and say, "Listen it was great seeing you, you look well, but I've got other plans, and I'm just so swamped with work, blah blah blah".. yeah you could be more abrupt, but why deal with the drama. Good luck!

I have found that most of the time the plans are never made. But there is no way to make somebody feel bad for no reason. Give the number and just forget about it.

well....ya could just say its a work phone and you don't give it out. Or....that you don't give out your number for reasons you don't want to discuss....which leaves it in her lap....and if she asks why then you can say I said I didn't care to discuss them and look at her like "are you retarded?" or you can say "long story". But...I just always shoot from the hip. I guess I'd ask her why she wants to call me now when we were never that close? I'd try to do it nice but inevitably I'd just say it was nice to see you and I hope I see you around again but I don't think we should exchange phone numbers. Nicely. remember the nicely part. but...in response to I asked you first.....just laff and say "yeah ya did but that doesn't mean I hafta do what ya ask" and laff and shrug it off...then quickly be like...."ohmigosh...I gotta run....see ya around" and dash off.

Give them your cell number. Once they call you the first time program their number into your phone. That way, when they call again it will show on your screen. Then you can decide wether or not to answer it.

Just give it to her, and don't call her back. Who cares! I do it all the time. I don't like to do it, but its better than being rude face to face.
