Ive felt love before...no doubt...but at the same time i dont feel like i love this person. i like her a lot...in many aspects shes perfect for me...but if that "connection" isnt there is it worth continuing in hopes that that connection might turn up?...

My last girlriend and I spent 2 years together with both being unable to say it. All the ingredients were there but I truly knew (and so did she) that we really didn't love each other. You really should examine what you feel for her. Two years was a long time to waste, and if you feel that you're not capable of loving her - don't waste 2 years. Deep down inside you may truly know that this is not the one and you can't honestly commit your love.

Well, perhaps.. Did I see a guy's shot (UR a fellah?) Guys are different than girls I think. (I'm old.. 53.. humor me..) Let me see here.. I can not tell my husband I love you.. why? easy. I don't! (He ignores it, says he loves me..) I guess IF the girlfriend doesn't ask why you don't say it..? don't sweat it! (IF she is asking, the more she asks ya(?) I am guessin' the more U freeze up maybe?) Like I said, I can't figure it, guys are different. Women are more like 'in tune with their feelings' and emotional (think it's the hormones flowin' the estrogen) but guys? They are more like touchy-feely.. (er, I mean they are more into the physical aspects.. and I know.. I know.. g irls are too.. don't get all pissed off, any girls reading this.. lmao) peace-n-luv (and NO you are fine! Don't feel like you are a 'flop' Heck, I betyou are a total gentleman the rest of the time.. buyin' her CD's, takin' her out..all that, right?! SHOW her you love her.. it/she'll be o.k., man.) peace-n-luv

This would depend on a few other things, have you ever said " I love you" to anyone at all, ever?
Sorry not enough info here in your question to give you the full treatment, so we'll just call that $250! (I'll bill you)!
You are the one asking the question, why?
Are you unsure yourself? I wont continue because I'm pretty sure my bill will mount up with each question I ask you!
But as a 'freebe' I suggest you sort it out on your own, maybe you cant say "I love you" because you dont love your partner??

There is nothing wrong with not saying it .At any time when you do say it then you should mean it from your heart and they are not just words. There are people that just say it to make the other person feel good or to get what they want.and if the case is that you don't feel right at this time you should say "me too" that way your not really saying it . Or tell the other person that you can not say it yet for you don't think you should just say it because they said . That person should understand if he or she does love you

No, sometimes people are very out going and happy-go-lucky, and say I love you, even to people they are not going out or don't speak to often. This makes it seem very normal for that person to say "I love you" and it loses value. Maybe the person just wants to make it special, or maybe has never had the chance to make it just right. It all depends on the person and his/her personallity.
Take care.

Yeah.. Big problem it means by now. you are actually just friends. because you havent found love yet... It also means you wasted a year on someone that isnt who you want to be with for the rest of your life.

i say no. it just means that u truly love him. but u don't want to make it seem like you're pressureing him into doing something he's not ready to do. if u can't say u love him then start out small and write a small note. say i love u on the note.

It is certainly a lot better than saying it but not meaning it.. But perhaps s/he isn't the one you love. It could quite possibly take time, or you could find it within someone else.

Maybe you can't say "I love you" because the other person has not said it and you don't want to be embarrassed if they don't feel the same way.
