No -- a "theist" is someone who *believes* in god. If there were proof of god (and just showing up wouldn't do it, he'd have to demonstrate why he's "god" and provide proof that he created the universe), there would be no need for belief, it would be fact.

Which God?
...Seriously, I'd acknowledge the fact that a deity exists, but I wouldn't convert to Christianity. There are still things in the Bible that I totally disagree with. It wouldn't make a difference to me if God exists; I'd still refuse to believe that homosexuality is an "abomination," for example.

Oh, Hells, no. I'd hit her upside the head and let her know what I think of her laziness in not taking a more directly pro-active role in the lives and development of "her children".

Well, assuming that it really was god, and I knew that somehow, it would make it a bit hard to not believe in his existence. Him being right there and all.

If he could proof himself not to be just some wackjob claiming to be a god. If anything I am more likely to be abducted by aliens.

I would acknowledge God exists, however, that does not mean I would accept it's teachings, assuming this God is one of our made up ones.

If he was so amazing that I believed he could be nothing other than a supreme being that is capable of everything god is supposed to be capable of, then yes.
