NO! it definitely won't, its a type of ID that can be easily faked. You have to have either a driving licence or passport or some other form of official ID otherwise you cannot be served in a pub. My friends tried using their NUS card once, but they got kicked out because its not proper ID!

Hi,
The pub doesn't have a right to accept you with an NUS card or any ID that they think could have been forged. You could have got to university before 18 so it isn't a sure thing. Some establishments are stricter than others, the only ones that are pretty much guaranteed are passport, driving licence (photo card) and proof cards.

Depends what the pubs like.. is it a college card or uni card.. may make a difference...
Iv used my card for ID... but the pub I went to.. wasnt that strict.. (afta uni sumtyms - when i havent got my passport on me)
If i go out on a proper night out I take my Passport...
Think you can only use Passports and Driving License's.. But some pubs will take NUS cards...

no, an NUS card does not prove your age. You need a passport, driving license or a proof of age card
