I told my friends that I want until I'm 25 to have sex. I'm 15 now and I want to be completely ready. I will have sex if I am married before then, but people say that I'm taking it too far. I will have boy friends but I just won't sleep with them unless I'm completely, completely sure that they're not just there for sex and we have to be togrther for a looooooooooooooooong time. But I have two questions.
Am I taking sex too seriously with the age thing and all?
And is it true that if I accomplish my goal and be a virgin until the age of 25, no man would want me because they would want a more experienced woman?(A boy told me that, but he was trying to convince me to loose my virginity at the same time. And no he wasn't my boyfriend. But I just want to know if that's true.) I'm a girl. I just have a guy advatar. Just in case you get confused.

On the contrary, there are plenty of men who prefer an INexperienced woman. It's 50-50 really, just a matter of preference. 25 is a suitable age for a woman to lose her virginity, if that is your inclination. Personally I see it differently, but I will not judge you by my standards. You want to wait for awhile so it is something more special than it would be if you did it when you were younger. That takes a lot of discipline, especially with peer pressure. Stick with it, but it will be hard. A lot of men say mean things when they find out that they cannot get any from a girl. Real mean things, even when they were sweet as sugar before. Men can be such surpreme assholes to women sometimes, so be ready for it, and stick to your guns. There are few things as satisfying as sticking to something so extremely long term that you proclaimed you would stick to, and other people look up to that, even though they say degrading things about it just because they are jealous they don't have the resolve you do and may want you to fail to validate their own perspectives. Good luck.
