I hear christians saying things like "Satan is laughing at you right now," etc. and it made me wonder - if Satan is a real being, where is he physically located right now?

When I was a little girl I was taught in hell/below, so I had a notion of "in the center of the earth." I wondered what the current thinking, or your thinking, is on that.

Thanks!

Sometime after Creation, Satan was cast down to earth along with the rest of the angels that rebelled with him. In the book of Job there was an occasion where "the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it" (Job 1:6-7). In Ephesians we see Satan refered to as, "the prince of the power of the air" (Ephesians 2:2). This would refer to our physical world.
Yes, the devil is real. He is not just a symbol for evil, nor is he an imaginary figure that people dreamed up to explain the existence of evil. Evil is real—and so is Satan or the devil.

Don't picture Satan, however, the way the cartoons do—as a comic figure with a red suit and a pitchfork who bothers people sometimes but otherwise has little influence. Satan is a very powerful cosmic spiritual personality who has one goal: to stop God's work wherever it is taking place. To accomplish this he schemes and works every way he can, and he is behind all the evil that takes place in the world. His name—Satan—literally means "Adversary"—and that is what he is: our adversary.

More than that, the devil works to deceive us and convince us that his promises are true and God's Word is a lie. Jesus said that the devil "was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:44). Don't ever take Satan lightly!

But one other thing needs to be said about the devil: He is a defeated foe! By His death and resurrection Jesus Christ conquered all the forces of death and Hell and Satan, and when we belong to Christ, we are safe from all these terrors forever. Make sure of your salvation by giving your life to Christ today.

Satan, fomerly the archangel Lucifer was cast down from heaven for pride, and exalting himself. He is called the "prince and power of the air". In the book of Job he approached God, and God asked him where he has been, so to speak. His answer was he was walking back and forth throughout the earth, to and fro. no, he is not in hell. He is a spiritual being as well as the demons that were cast out with him. His mission is to torment believers to the point where they will rebel against God. In some cases, it is a simple task because so many Christians neglect their Bibles, their command from God to preach the Gospel, and to live holy lives, and reject the preaching from the pulpits. Christians have learned to be so selfish, and greedy, no one would even bother to follow their God. However, there are still some good fundamental churches with direction and purpose.Satan will someday be cast into the lake of fire which burneth with fire and brimstone, but not until Christ has reigned on the earth for 1000 years. Thanks for the question.

The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it."
(Job 1:7)

He is a spirit being. God say he is:
a liar and the father of lies (Jn 8:44)
prince of the power of the air, (Eph 2:2)
the god of this world (2 Cor 4:4)
ruler of the spiritual forces of wickedness (Eph 6:12)
ancient serpent, devil, satan (Rev 12:9)

But he is a defeated foe...if you are in Christ.

If somebody has informed you that "devil" or "demons" can bodily injury you, then i might decide to invite them for some rather situations of somebody being bodily harmed the place the two non-believers and believers have reached a consensus that devil replaced into certainly the reason of the wear. The James Randi beginning place has presented a million-greenback prize to every physique who can show below at a similar time-agreeable controlled situations that there are supernatural powers. i'm particular that the persons who knowledgeable you -- your mom and dad or your church, ought to apply that quantity of money to accomplish a little genuine sturdy interior the international. If there is any actuality by any capacity to their claims, they could desire to have not have been given any hardship gathering the prize funds. in the event that they respond that it incredibly is "a remember of religion" or that "the Lord should not be examined" then you definitely could desire to be very suspicious that what they are telling you is in actuality no longer genuine.

The book of Job and the book of Revelations state that Satan wanders upon the face of the Earth, seeking to lead people astray (Jesus referrers to him as the Prince of the Air). He doesn't get cast into Hell until judgment day, same as everybody else.

Well as much as I was taught to stomp on the devil because he is under my feet, doesn't mean that he is physically below us it just means we are over him. Let me explain: God has the victory already right? So, if we are really a child of God and serve in his army.... we won!!! Where that serpent is right now.. I don't know. He can be anywhere. He is about to lose a long fight. He is probably stressing right now. Please! Go to www.spiritlife.tv

God gave the earh over to Satan when he was kicked out of heaven with one third of his angles.
He is price of the air and principalities
God of the earth. He has legions of deamons, and spirits, he is their master and they do his bidding.
That is why, so many are deceived into false doctrines, and false gods
Fear not, God is greater and has more angles and more filled with his own spirit on earth.
We overcome him by the word of our testimony and the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus

Black Parade Billie. I do not believe in satan, however when I say that please understand that I do not believe satan to be a he,or an it. Satan is a word to define what are the fears of man. Hell is a word define a place where mans worst fears are personified.
Satan is a force of what mens adversity stands for. It means conflict within yourself that keeps you from your own inner peace, this is what is considered evil .Demons(evil, satan, hell) They are metaphors to explain man's worst fears and the adversity of this world. I wish you well.
