Hon, I don't know why you think this is a moral issue at all. You're clearly both adults, and how many older men are out there with women half their age? It has nothing to do with morality. A close friend of mine has been with her sweetheart for ten years now, and he's nearly a decade younger than her. There's no reason a woman dating a younger man would be immoral. However, if that's not the only reason your family objects to him, that's entirely different. You should try to find out if there's something else about him that they don't like and they're just using the age difference as a convenient way to avoide bringing up their "real" problems with the guy.

Well that depends age difference means very little when both persons are adults...If your partner is a teenager and you are an adult...then there could be some serious moral and legal issues! Personally I wont date a man too much younger than me because most younger men want to settle down and have kids and I already have a child and feel that I'm too old to have more (physically I could) its just a matter of being in 2 different stages in life that would make a younger man for me incompatible....so I wont date anyone that's more than 7 years younger than me. If you are both adults than it is between you and your partner and no one else!! Don't let anyone tell you different! Best wishes!

This depends on the ages of each of you. Age is not a big factor unless it involves underage and overage. If you are both adults and have looked down the road to what life together would be like in 10, 20, or 30 years then you should make the decision

It all depends. If I were in love with someone younger than me and that person was a consenting adult, then I'd tell my family to mind their own business. If that person was under 18, I'd stay as far away from that person as possible, no matter how deeply in love I felt.

it depends on if the law says being with your partner is a crime! if you are both of age then i'd say don't listen to your family listen to your heart...your the one who has to live with your decision.

If you listen to your family, you will regret that lost time for the rest of your life.

It rather depends on how important your family is. Without knowing more about your background it would be impossible to answer your question.
