BBQ chicken legs & mac n cheese. All you need is a bottle of your favorite bbq sauce, chicken legs. Wash the chicken off (use some lime juice or vinegar) pat dry. Season with some season all or garlic powder, salt & pepper. Pour on some of the sauce & mix it around. Place it in a baking dish. Bake on about 375 degrees for 45 minutes or so. You can either make your mac n cheese from scratch or do the Kraft thing.

You can make rosemary chicken, just basically grilled chicken breast with some spices but rosemary is so strong and tastes so good. Also theres this rice you get in a box at the supermarket its kinda yellow and tastes fake but really good. Or theres the Zatarain's rice with some kidney beans that is so good. But that would probably taste better with lean pork loins. Then we always add a salad and that's it. I am 18 and a guy and I actually enjoy cooking dinner for my parents, that meal only takes 15 minutes.

Spread the dough, top with pizza sauce, add grated cheeses (your choice) top with mushrooms, escargot and bake until perfect. Open some good red wine and enjoy. Don't tell the kids there are snails in this, they will love it anyway.

Try making your own Pig-in-a-blanket with hot dog and ready-to-use biscuit's. Camper's Stew is also a good change. And how about Chili with cheese. Give us some more info on what dishes you're already making and I'll come up with ideas you can really use.
My partner is a great Chef and he constantly re-invents dishes.

Baked lemon chicken, basmati rice and salad. The left over chicken make a great homemade chicken soup, something about the lemon just gives it a little kick.
