It varies so much from region to region that it would be best for you to check online for a pay scale for your area. Most counties have a listing for public record available. New teachers with good qualifications earn just under $30,000 in Arkansas. Each state board of education also has regional and state averages posted online for use by those who are interested.

Preschool teachers in a private school don't make that much. Here in California you are lucky to make $8 an hour, but if you work in a state Headstart Preschool program you can make as high as $15 an hour. That is if you have your Children's Center Permit. If you only have your Child Development course it is less and if you have a degree it is a little more. Hope this helps. I use to work as a Preschool teacher for many many years. The highest I ever made working as a Director of a center was $11 an hour and that was 10 years ago. Now if you work as a credentialed teacher K-Highschool you salary varies depending on the state you live in and the school district.

It depends on the state, weather it is at a public school or private school, or if its just a preschool.
In CA you have to have a either have 12 hours I think to even work in a preschool and a degree to be a preschool teacher. The last time I called around for jobs, they were paying between $15-22 per hour for assistants and more for teachers. Granted that was in southern CA. Other states in middle America may only pay about 6-12 for assistants and 12-18 for teachers. Like I said it all depends.

Every area is different. You can range from a low of around $16,000 a year to a high of a little over $40,000. Of course your experience and education will affect this but not as much as the location of where you want to teach.
Overseas, (Japan, China, Korea) a native English speaking preschool teacher will make from $12-$30 an hour. Again this depends on qualifications and locations. If you are interested in finding preschool jobs overseas, the best source is www.gaijinpot.com

A teachers salary can vary from district to district but a reference might be www.salary.com or The US Department of Labor Statistics--http://stats.bls.gov/oco/ocos002.htm. Also, most private schools pay a good deal more than the pubic schools.---http://jobstar.org/tools/salary/index.php--- But if your job hunting, GOOD LUCK!

That all depends on your area and your experience and qualifications. I've heard of teachers starting at as little as 19,000 or as more as 30,000.
