Syrup of Ipecac can be purchased at any drug store. It is usually kept behind the counter, so you'll need to ask for it. Every house should keep a bottle handy in case someone (mainly children) injest poisons or toxic substances. It is used to induce vomiting. Also used when a person injests an overdose of medications OR they have eaten botulism foods & have symptoms of food poisoning & want to get it out of their stomach BEFORE it gets into their digestive tract.

well its really stupid if your going to use that as a form of diet it will dehydrate you and so when you do start to eat again you will gain back 2 times the weight you lost. It will also kill you if done for longer periods of time because you will be so dehydrated. but you can get it at any grocery store...stupid stupid idea. just eat less aned exercise at least then you will feel better not be over a toilst vomitting for 3 hours or look like s h i t all day!! plus you will lose fat and deep it off while toneing and strenghthening your body!! give me a break girl dont do this...

At the drug store. If you have small children it is good to have it handy for emergencies! We had to use it once for our son.

you can usually get it at any neighborhood drug store--but why would you need it!!?? yuck!! if you're using it to lose weight, just exercise!
