Sharp 56DR650
(*est. $1,900)

TV.According to reviews, the 56-inch Sharp is an excellent value. It gets solidly good scores for image quality, although it isn't quite the equal of higher-rated televisions. While its 1280 X 720 resolution is high enough to display 720p HDTV programming (such those telecast by Fox and ESPN), it has to scale down other HD resolutions to fit the screen. Despite this, reviews say most people won't notice a huge difference between a 720p television like the Sharp and a higher-resolution set.

That only happens if you leave a still image on screen most Flat Panel TV's have a screen saver these days mine just goes to a blue screen if no signal is detected after about 1 minute As for the TV you get, just get one with the lowest refresh rate 5ms or lower is best, also look for HDMI connectivity for best picture quality (if your console or PC has it)
