At least 2000 years. Christianity is not yet civilized in that length of time.

Religions aren't civilized, though the people who follow the religions can be. Christianity is a most uncivilized religion, though most Christians are civilized. The same holds true of Islam. Religions are throwbacks to civilizations that were very primitive. They believed that women were property, slaves were ok, and killing off whole civilizations because they didn't believe as you was fine. Religions today still promote some of these archaic "values". However, society has overcome most of those shortcomings and has evolved more than the primitive values that religons promote.

Some say that Christians are not civilized, But at least we don't go around destroying cities infrastructures, or burning a country's flag, or murdering Innocent people. when someone makes fun of or criticizes Jesus. Hay! That must make us the civilized ones.

What are you talking about? Are you daring to say Islam is uncivilized? Oh dear no you are wrong. Islam practices and promotes peace and doesn't go invading other countries and making war like the West. We can only make war if the state of Islam or the people are threatened. And Iraq invading Kuwait and Iran in the first Gulf War does not count because any sane Muslim will tell you that Sadaam is not Muslim and never was or will be Muslim. He totally went against Islam by not making the women wear hijab and torturing his people. Of course the USA put him in that position and refused to help the poor Iraqis even though they knew of the horrors going on in Iraq. Yes this is true. Research American history and you'll find this is truth.

Probably the same amount of time it will take Christianity to become civilized. There are bad apples in every bunch just like the Christians that go to an abortion clinic and protest it's wrong to kill, and then turn around and blow up the clinic.

If by "civilized" you mean playing the Sherrif on the whole planet (and baddly at that), and causing so much life costing resentment, then, well, I hope NEVER !!!

Islam was civilized before Christianity, but the Christian Crusaders of the Middle Ages taught them how to be barbaric. same way Bush & Blair soldiers are teaching them to be barbaric in Iraq. Christian fanatics are as evil as Islamic fanatics.
