My boyfriend gets superhard when we are just fooling around, but when we are getting ready to have sex, he just suddenly goes limp. Neither of us have had this happen before so we dont know why its happening. But whenever he sees me or touches me he gets excited and hard. Why does this change when we are about to have sex?

he is probably shy or nervous. never act offended by it as that will make it worse. you need to find a way to keep his attention on [the moment] and not so much on [the act]. example would be to continue kissing while [you] put things in place if ya know what i mean. it may take a while but always be patient and understanding.

Hey pumpkin,

You know I had this problem too and I saw an andrologist for this. He told me that the issue is not between my legs but between my ears! (My Mind)
Therefore I suggest that you guys dont even try to have sex for about a week and then take thing easy. I'm sure he'll be up like the Effiel tower asap.
If this doesnt work then he should consult a good andrologist and ask for the papavirine injection. This test will determine any abnormalities.
Good Luck.

A couple of reasons are possible. I had a similar problem, i drank alot and lost my level of testosterone significantly. I had to go the doctor to get a mild steriod to get my level back and then it was ok. Another reason is if you are passive when fooling around. If you are gently rubbing and touching and not doing any action to keep him aroused, he could loose it. Make sure there is not a big gap of doing nothing between foreplay and sex

My ex-husband had that problem too. He needed viagra in his 20s. Turned out he had a problem with blood flow that he'll have the rest of his life. You might need to get your b/f to go see a urologist if this persists. Try going straight to sex without fooling around. Good luck to both of you - & have patience!

Wow weird, i just read somewhere yesterday that stress blocks like 50% of the blood flow to the penis. He needs some serious relaxation technique.

Let him know you dont judge him on his performance or find out what else is stressing him howboutit.

Maybe it's an anxiety thing. .perhaps he feels he can't perform or scared he won't satisfy you -- men are much more inclined to be nervous about stuff like that - -
