Preferably Christians answer this one. But I'm open to all answers. Thanks in advance for answering. Personally I think the clock is still ticking and we've got a little bit of time left but not much. What has happend in the news and such is not even the begginning of the end but we're getting close. 9/11, the warring in the mideast, possible threats of terror attacks here and there, economic up heavals and such, the terrorist threatening to hit the middle eastern oil rich nations and such, etc. Time is short Are you ready? I am prayerfully.

Remember the Bible says no one knows the day or the time it will all end. Only the Father God knows. It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with the Bible or not. What matters is it's real it's happening and you'd better be ready.

Good answer sheremynew but remember it's by grace we are saved and by faith in God and his Son who died and rose again in our place. Not by our good works no one can save themselves when it comes to eternity. Only God can do that.

No one can know when the end will come (Matt 24:36). So the only Biblical answer about when the end times will come is "soon" (Rev 22:7, 12, 20). "Soon" is the Greek "tachu" which can mean "shortly or soon" but also "quickly, suddenly, unexpectantly".

God has wanted Christians to live as if Christ could return anyday. That's why the end times will come without warning. Although, there are many, many signs that the "season" is close at hand.

My personal view of how it will unfold (I am a teacher of prophecy, end times, Revelation for the past 5 years):

1) Rapture of the church
2) Start of the 7 year "tribulation"
3) Christ returns to earth
4) Christ sets up his kingdom; 1000 year reign on earth
5) Great white throne judgment for the lost
6) New Heaven and New Earth

And yes, I am ready. God bless

The indicators of the cases? the tip of the international? I refuse to take a position on fundamentalist scare strategies. a million) an superior being? i do no longer think there is any supernatural puppet grasp that controls the excuses and strikes of humankind. I even have faith that a supernatural author could be silly to allow a creation of even constrained intelligence (like people) to have loose will. yet there is adequate in this universe (and the human recommendations) that's no longer customary (and that throughout all probability can't be customary) that I stay an agnostic. 2) i've got faith there grew to become into probable a guy named Yeshua that existed greater or less 2000 years in the past. i do no longer prescribe to him deity status (or maybe the son of a deity)...i've got faith that very lots of the text fabric written approximately him grew to become right into a reaction to being controlled and enslaved by potential of a useful government. 3) My equivalent of the Holy Bible? A library, i think...i've got in no way thought approximately it. 4) i do no longer think the Earth will end. Humankind would come to an end, yet, barring a cosmic catastrophy, i think of the Earth would be effective, up until the sunlight grows close adequate to burn off our environment. 5) There are no good, valid, purpose, straight forward bills from every person or something on no count if or no longer there is something to seem forward to after dying. With the lack of ability of information, i'm able to't help yet have faith there's no longer something after dying. the closest i'm able to come to describing myself spiritually is a naturalistic humanist.

I don't know and I don't really care much. I just do the best I can from day to day and try not to worry about any possible outcome. I'm not in control, anyhow. As for so called "millenialism"; I don't believe in it. That and "the Rapture" are just theories thought up by HUMANS, ( like the Bible) but folks sure do get all stirred up about them.

I'm not a christian, Dave, but I'll be nice. Yeah, the end times will come. And most likely it will come due to man screwing up this planet. George Carlin once said that someday this planet will shake mankind off like a bad case of fleas. Nothing lasts forever.

You're about the 1500th generation to believe that theirs is the last. And about the 1500th to be wrong, no disrespect intended.

Just live a good life. Whether or not you die when the world ends, or before the world ends, you should run your life exactly the same, as though every day were your first, and your last.

there is no such thing as an "end time", throughout history there have always been crappy things happening all over the world, the fact that bad things are happening isn't indicative of the end of the world, I can think of numerous events that are much worse than anything we are experiencing (ex. the black plague)

I'm against it. I find it disturbing that so many can subscribe to a pile of superstitious crap that has as it's end and highly anticipated goal the destruction of the world. There are enough fanatics around and enough technology around for some nut-job to actually try it. A little bit of Religion is like a little bit of syphilis, unless eradicated, it always gets worse.

Former Christian, now agnostic...........people have been preaching this for centuries. People have given away all their earthly possesions & joined cults, gone to a mountaintop.....Why not just live a good life, do no harm, don't judge others, help folks when you can & enjoy the life you think you have left. I've lost 7 people this year...all good people.

Great setting for a movie, cartoon or a manga.

Divine purpose certainly adds more depth & emotion to the story than the regular "nuclear winter" scenario.
