That would be very unfair if women put ALL men in the same category. Each person is an individual... I have had my years of dating in my past and women and men do not think alike. Woman cry (I still do) and show their feelings more so than a man which does not mean men do not have feelings, most of the time, they don't show it.... My husband now tells me he would rather hold it in than confront me. I am outgoing and verbal, I will say something if it bothers me, definitely considering my husbands feelings, and my husband Mr. Opposite, keeps it to himself....which again, does NOT mean he does not have feelings just that he does not show them........

Well, when someone say that men have no feelings, they don't mean that ALL men have no feelings, but that the majority of men don't. That is usually because of their experiences with men. I don't think that it is because they don't have feelings, but because the majority wants to be in control and then it makes it seem like they are not considering what the female wants or needs. I agree with you a great deal with the last part of your question. They should not all be classed in the same category. When people do that, they mix the good with the bad and all they see then is bad. I personally like to view men individually because everyone is special in their own way. I make up my mind about a person according to what he shows that tells me who he really is.

It goes both ways, trust me. Some may have been raised in an unhealthy environment or had unhealthy and hurtful relationships of some kind. It's not right to put people in the same caetgories like that. They may also not understand that men are different and express their feelings differently. It's hard to say without knowing who these women are and the circumstances.

Men do have feelings and emotions, its just that some men find it less complicated to not express them and perhaps show them less than women. I think this helps them to cope and feel stronger mentally especially in difficult situations, whereas for women it could be the opposite. Its impotant to show your feelings as this helps to relieve things that could be building up inside, and its important to let others know your not completely cold! , i guess we should all try not to judge people too quickley as its not fair to assume every man/woman is the same.

Maybe because men are not very good at showing their feelings, or because we've all met some real bastards. But not all of us categorize all men to have no feelings. Sometimes when you're real hurt it just takes time to start believing that there are nice and caring blokes in the existance.

They're not all gits, I've been very hurt very recently to degrees beyond belief. But even I recgonise the the fact that not all men are made of the same, selfish, evily calculating, malipulating, aggressive, egotisical mould that my ex husband is made of.
Problem is they do follow the old joke:-
'Why are all men like toilets?
They're either out of order, full of s**t and the good ones are always already taken'.

In my experience men are not all the same. However, certain physiological preferences unite them in some aspects of their behavior.
When women refer to men "being the same" they refer to these particular aspects, chliche things such as not putting the toilet sit down, being jealous and possesive, being careless, forgetting wedding anniversaries.
However, deep inside the women know that her man is not the same - he is unique.

thats not true, i'm a woman and believe men have feelings, maybe you just haven't been with good women. as for the category thing, what do you mean? most women see men as individuals, though i'll admit we sometimes see a man and think "dumb jock" or other sterotypes.
