guys and girls, what do you think of tattoos and piercings on a person that you are dating? cool or trashy??

How attractive someone is to me is not determined by how many tats and piercings they have. I've dated guys (like my boyfriend now) who are clean and ones who have lots of tats and some piercings. Its the person who is "cool" or "trashy".

Tattoos and Piercings are hot on either sex. A guy should have a lot of tattoos on their arms, but a girl shouldn't have all that many tattoos. Piercings really doesn't matter where you get them they are still attractive. So anyone with tattoos or piercings are hottt even though some think they are trashy :-P

Tattoos and piercings should be a form of self expression or art. It shouldn't really matter to someone if others think it's cool. And if they did get one just to be "cool" then they have effectively made it the opposite. I have 3 piercings and 4 tattoos but most people don't even know I have the tattoos. They are for me. If someone doesn't like them, then they obviously are not open minded enough for me.

Well, some girls like them, & some don't. It all just depends on the girl. Personally, I LOVE tattoos & piercings on a guy. The only thing is, I don't think guys should get face tattoos. That's a big NO. And piercings? On the ears is fine, just stick with getting them pierced once, single piercing is ok. Lip or snake bite piercings are beyond attractive to me. I've seen guys with tongue piercings before. I don't think guys should get tongue piercings, but, if you can pull it off, then go for it. This us just my opinion though. Hope it helped(somehow).

I'm not going to like or dislike somebody because of either one. But, I like piercings to stay on the ears. Nose piercings and belly piercings are OK on girls, but I still don't care for that too much. I can't stand tattoos. I'm not a fan of permanent alteration to the body. Tattoos don't seem to be so unique anymore. So many people have them now.

Depending on where these "tattoos and piercings" are at some are cool but some are trashy and although he might be a really great guy I won't look at him twice if he has tattoos all over his arms! But no percings below the waist to gross, But like a awesome eyebrow or nose ring and like a tatt on their arm now that's awesome!

Tattoos and piercings are OK i have some myself but if I'm dating a guy i prefer his tats be somewhere that is easy to cover because if the relationship gets serious i want hI'm to be able to handle both life styles and what i mean by that i want him to be able to go to business functions with me and "play" with the big dogs of the company yet also be himself when were not in the spot light ( and yes all my tats are in spots that you will only see if im naked or swimming )

I dont think they are trashy at all. I think they are sexy. Sexy because people wanna express themselves. Especially tattoos...tattoos are so unique and hearing people's personal stories on why they have what they have tattooed on them, is really cool. Piercings are also sexy too.....

I personally aren't much for either on men. I can live with a tattoo, but piercings to me are a bit much. I mean, I have five piercings (all on my ears), but it's because I love earrings so much... I've developed an obsession.

LOVE THEM!
I think guys and girls with tattoos and piercings are sexy, even just having one to having a whole sleeve or back piece. But I get my mods done for me, if people don't like them I don't care.
I myself have 4 tattoos and 25 piercings and work as a piercer. My man has 1 piercing and 3 tattoos.
