yes and depending on what your doing it sometimes is much better to use peanut oil as do most of your establishments that do a lot of deep frying..it last longer than other oils....and as far as taste it will not be noticable ...

Yes you can. But if you have a nut alergy, please don't. LOL. The temperature at which different oils "burn" are different, so just watch it carefully till you have the hang of the change, so to speak.
