Yes, I'm sure they can. I don't know alot about the subject, but I'm sure they can co-exist within a person, (I think I have one or two myself)
They also can oppress, and/or accompany a person, trying to find a way into that person or others.. Full blown POSSESSION, I think is rare but I believe it is documented, altho I couldn't tell you where? Hope it helps!
I just saw one of you other answers... grrr....There is only one "good spirit" who would dwell within, that is the "Holy-Spirit" of God. Any others are liars and decievers!

Hi Bernadette, firstly you must remember that spirits are without our kind of bodies, and can do much,much more than we can.
they are not limited to space and can move through solid things,this is their nature,which is a higher form of life than ours.
demons who are fallen Angels can indeed possess people, but this is very rare indeed.
the term possession is also used for the Holy Spirit, and this frightens some people,but you have to remember the difference between this and demonic possession.
the Holy Spirit brings peace to the troubled soul,while the demonic brings trouble to the soul.
Angels never seem to possess a person and this is probably because God respects human dignity and would not permit this,while the devil has no respect for us at all.
the Holy Spirit as He is God only comes upon us at our request,and lifts the soul with utter joy.

Most definitely. I have been with someone possessed. It was a creepy feeling for me and I've never prayed harder in my life. Possessed people are capable of every sinful act you can think of. Be careful not to label someone as possessed just because of their actions though.

That's a really hard one to answer and believe. But in my opinion, I don't think so! Because it also makes me wonder why when you hear about someone being possessed by demons they are always Catholic and it is always Priests that performs the exorcisms. I never hear about other religions like that. I guess I am a sceptic!

yes, I believe they can be. depending upon the person the Spirits can be either good or evil as the Good Spirits will use the person to impart further wisdom and knowledge for the benefit of those around the ( possessed ) person.

yes they do and they are capable of harming the person they are in causing all kinds of sickness and even death the Bible tells of many people that Jesus and even the disciples cast out evil spirits and healing the person they were in today people put it off as the person being insane crazy and know one wants to deal with these things so they are locked away from sicksioty but if you have given your life to the Lord he has given you the power to cast out demons.
