I bought it over two months ago and got a receipt he said he would get the title in 1-2 weeks, well two months later I have yet to get it. can I sue him for my money back? I have not drove the car or anything.

That is why you never buy a car without a title in hand. How do you know the car is even registered in his name or has a lien from a bank or finance company against it. You are setting your slf up to be screwed bigtime. I would demand the money back and then call the police and have them run the VIN to see who it really belongs to.

The person has seven days to give you the title. I would sue his butt for your money back.

wow, bad descision. You must always see the title to check liens and ownership.
