1, Is it okay for a guy to have long hair or have it in a ponytail?
2. For guys, how much should they shave around their ponytail; just above the ears or have only the top of the head in a tail.

ponytail looks good on some guys not everyone can pull it off. it depends on the occasion if you would let it out or put it up.
tell the Barber to line you up( that is where he lines up your hair line)

If you are comfortable with pony tail wear it that way. Some guys are sexy with long hair but some well they just end up looking like a girl. ha ha Having only the top in a tail. lol
ya go to a barber they will cut it the right cut but initially it is up to you. Do whatever look you like because styles change so often you might get it cut the "okay" way and then not like it. That would be a bummer

Long Hair looks Good on guys who can pass it off. as far as a Ponytail .. leave that to chicks !
Shoulder length looks decent , an shaving .. let a barber do it.

Ponytails on men are just as bad as a mullet. The worse offenders are the men who are balding and have hair only in the back...and have it in a ponytail....Yuck!

look i on of my best friends is a guy and he wheres his hair up like all the time (yes like a girls) but hes not gay if thats y u fear that peps will say som thing a bout u wearing ur hair up like that.. and heas awsome its just a way of self exprssion

i personally i don't like pony tails.. but go to a barber and he will shave it for you the rite way!
