He's keeping you on the side as a "just in case"...
Just in case his other booty call doesn't answer the phone that night.

Yes you should stop texting him.
I'm probably not the best person to answer this - but my husband had an affair for nearly ten months and as far as the mistress was concerned he had divorced me, he even went as far as forging county court divorce documents to prove to her that we were divorced. (we are now since I've found out. lol)
So what I'm sort of saying is that are you sure he is what he said he was in the one night stand, and wasn't just a married man out for a bit of fun on a night out?
I mean no offence to yourself - just the level men will go to is unbeliveable, get someone who reciprecates your affections equally.

how many times does he have to not answer you for you to know hes not interested in you. he got what he wanted. you said it your self you was a one night stand. threes a reason its called a ONE night stand.have some pride and leave him alone and remind your self of this the next time your climbing in bed with a man you met just hours before.

Yes I would stop texting him. If he wants you in his life he will start going after you. The reason I married my husband is because he pursued like no other man. I loved it. I knew he loved me. The reason he won't ignore you is he likes the flirting, but that is all it is. You are feeding his ego.

Yes, I think you should stop texting him. One night stands are..........well, one night. You said he just got divorced, so I think they're might be other things on his agenda that he's worrying about. And you- just happened to be there that night......perfect place, perfect time.

It sounds like he's only after one thing I'm afraid. To be honest I feel that any relationship started on solely sex cannot last. He doesn't appear to want to put the effort in and wants you to do all the chasing. I wouldn't bother love. Good luck! xxx

Yes, stop..... unless you want to be the transitional chick - he's just divorced and having his fun!!!! Telling you you're gorgeous shouldn't be something 'new' to you... you are!!!! Have confidence and don't let him think you can't go on without him....

You had a one night stand - he appears to be keeping you in reserve in case he wants a repeat performance. Dump him..

yes, you're beginning to look foolish. he's not interested or he would've been doing something for the past 3 months instead of ignoring you.
