I've already lost a good bit of weight and I'm not overweight, but I want to lose 6 pounds. What is the shortest (realistic) timeframe I can lose it in?

Oh, and I would prefer to lose mostly fat, and not just water or body parts :).

Keep in mind I don't have a lot to lose...and my metabolism has probably slowed down a bit.

Three days. Eat only fruit and veg, as much as you like, but no peas, beans, corn, potatoes or bananas. You can make stir fry and add a little olive oil. You can even have a little mayo on salad. Also, make a pot of soup and put cabbage and celery in it. Don't drink any alcohol during those three days, just have water, unsweetened tea/fruit juice or herbal tea. You will lose 2lbs each day and it's also a great detox. You may feel a little weak, so take a good multi-vitamin.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Go on a 3 day fruit and veggie only fast. And drink lots of water. Each day sit in the sauna and you will sweat out water weight.

a realistic time frame is 3 weeks. the max weight loss per week should not excede 2 lbs. try, using psyllium husk or metamucil, along with lots of water and healthy vegetable diet and you should cut 6 lbs. in three weeks no problem.

hell I fight professionally and have to cut weight all the time...get some abolene (make up remover) rub it all over your body, put on a couple of layers of closes and then make a trash bag poncho....then go sit in the sauna for about 35mins

6 lbds will be easy...I have lost 15 in an hour

me, personally, if i get hella drunk and not eat and pass out, i can lose up to 5lbs! i will wake up and be 5 lbs lighter! then if i wanna lose another pound just go for a walk. really, though, i think other than getting drunk and passing out, it might take about a week to lose 6 pounds. however, i could go 2 days without eating and lose 5 lbs
