Where in the bible does it specefically say that the seperation of church and state is bad?don't give that "well god probually wants it" your not god so you can't possibly know what he's thinking, the only indication we have is a book, and in that book it never specifically say that separation of church and state is wrong. The early christians didn't seem to mind , so why should we?

This is America. America was not to be founded on a religion such as Christianity - the founding fathers knew this and promoted separation of chuch and state so the country doesn't turn into a theocracy.

I hope you realize that the reason why the Europeans first came to the Americas was to flee religious persecution of the Catholic Church.

Separation of Church and State was a hurried, temperamental, unwise decision. Secular having upperhand on religious was the second folly. How do we deserve the title 'Christ-ian' when the parliamentarians elected by fellow humans, in the name of a 'religion' named 'democracy', have the free hand to legislate laws, legalising the pervert acts of humans? The religion of democracy teaches 'equality', another bluff. How can a PhD be 'equal' to one who did not complete even 5 years of education. The votes are counted. The voters are not weighed... in the scale of wisdom, maturity, farsightedness, faith. Everyone has one vote. Electioneering has become a technique, a technology and no more an honest opinion of the citizens. All this in the name of the religion of democracy, not in the name of Christianity. What are the Philosophers in the Universities doing. Do they only talk to each other, read each others' books. Is there no Aristotle, no St.Paul now. No. They are there. But in a minority. In a 'democracy' only the majority opinion is valued. Not the opinion of Christians... or Christian Philosophers/ Bible Exegetes/ Biblical Mystics and Saints who are here, alive, active, but in a minority. Did the holy Jesus command a majority to prove himself right! If mylord Jesus is here again, and the 'democratic-majority' be not with him, shall he be listened to! *** I am grateful to the Asker for a very good question *** The Church and the State must be reunited. No Laws be legislated against the spirit of the Divine Will and Commands. And this message of reuniting the Church and State be sent to all nations, whether Christians or not. That shall be truly The New Age... and a true welcome to the Christ of the Jews, of the Muslims, of the Christians, of the Hindus (their name for Christ is the Kalki Autar), of every other religion ( they have similar expectations in own terminology).

Because society and the ACLU have oppressed the Christian community.Freedom of religion is slowly being ostracized from daily life.The bible clearly states this will happen.

Are trying to get one to put a spike through your tongue?

Are you talking about early Americans? They were not Christians. The Red Scare propelled that propaganda.

O.K.
You go to Washington to RUN THE COUNTRY.

You go to "Church" to WORSHIP GOD.

You DON'T go to "Church" to RUN the Country.

You DON'T go to "Washington" to WORSHIP GOD.

Now, it seems to me, that to IF you are UP THERE, Trying to RUN the Country---you better get on your Knees and Pray to GOD to LEARN HOW to Run the Country--THEN go to Church on Sunday if you want to.

DuH--~~~~~~==---~~`!
