I know a schizophrenic woman who has murdered many people, & she states that God is good, & she thinks she's going to heaven.

One wouldn't murder if one was a child of God and accepted God as one's king and father. Although going to heaven is based on faith, faith expresses itself through actions (the mouth speaks of what the heart is full of), and based on that I wouldn't think that she's heading that way. If however she has changed from her days of murdering, accepted God into her heart as king and father, and asked for his forgiveness, then yes, she may be heading that way!

Only God can judge her and knows her better than any doctor does. If murdering people due to complete insanity isn't a sin, that's up to God. Murder is a sin but so is lying and swearing. There are all equally as bad. But God knows what's going on with her mind and in her heart. He is fair and just and He will do with her according to His 'guidelines'. We can pray for these people. But there are, sadly, many people that murder and do things but claim to be mentally ill so they don't go to prison or the electric chair. Many would rather live in a mental institute instead of prison. There are sane people that play insane for earthly punishments, but God will judge them in the end.

What scares me more is that someone that unstable and dangerous speaks to you on a regular basis. She may have a strong belief in god and be really trying to do good. She is sick not bad, and God knows her true heart. It is possible that he may save her but it depends on where she stands with him. If she doesn't realize she has murdered and truly believes she is living a holy life- he knows this. I pray for you both.

Read matt 7. Not all will enter on that day no matter their claim. You will know if people really beleive in God by their actions (by their fruit the passage claims). Her fruit is not that of God. Therefore, it doesn't matter what she thinks will happen... what matters is what WILL happen.

Not my opinion...my BELIEF...is that the one true God is the final and complete Judge of all things. A person can choose to believe what they want, rationalize all day and all night...to no avail.

If she's aware of what she has done and she continues to do it then Id think her chances of getting into the bighouse is pretty slight.Maybe if she stops and asks forgiveness she may be able to. shes truly gotta be repentant tho. These half measures are a waste of time.

If she's mentally ill, then God would not hold her accountable.

If she's schizophrenic, she's mentally ill, not evil.
