I don't think it's appropiate to have a 8 year old sister seeing her big brother's private parts.

By law they are not allowed to share a bedroom past a certain age why would you think it appropriate to share a shower/bath?

There may be nothing "going on" but why take the chance that something will? The boy is at the age when he thinks about sex pretty much all the time. The little girl is at the age where she still trust her older brother.
You are definitely setting up a dreadful situation and neither one of these kids should have to face that road. When he decides to cross the line (and he will because of urges that are only natural) he will have changed both lives forever. He will be a sex offender and not be allowed around her or any other minor children. She will always struggle with the notion that it was her fault, when it wasn't. Her outlook on life will become tainted and her future questionable as well as his.
Let them be brother and sister by sharing a movie or a game. Let them take their own bath/shower completely alone as they should be doing.
If you are the parent allowing this to happen then I really hope that chld protective services take them from you.

yes that very wrong I'm 17 and my brother is 9 my mom made me stop taking baths with him when he was 2 in a half because Of my puberty. Plus He was becoming more aware of things. A 16 year old male should not being bathing with a 8 year old girl no matter what is going on. If they are wearing bathing suits that's different!!!!

Hell yes there is something wrong with that, your 16 and plus she's 8 and she's your sister. Where is your mother while all of this going on? And to think nothing funny is going on, yes it is your taking a bath with your 8year old sister.

are you 16 years old or is he 16 months old?
if you are a 16 year old , this is not good. even if nothing funny isn't going on. at this age you should be bathing by yourself and she should be bathing by herself.

It's not the best practice to do. You need to teach them privacy from a young age. Also, if this 18 year old brother is mentally fit for his age, he should not feel comfortable to show his private parts to anyone, specially to a younger sister. Now, if he has some type of mental retardation, and his mind still function as an small child, and wants to play with little sis on the tub, still dysfunctional. Let them play, but at least let them play with a bathing suit and shorts on. Otherwise, something is wrong with the older boy and you have to talk to him. Please keep on eye on his behavior. Maybe he has other issues.

So wrong, he needs to take a shower on his own. why does an 8 yr. old girl need to see what a 16 yr old boy has. She doesn't need to be seeing or being taught nasty things like that at this age. When she is older then it would be fine to explain the birds and the bees, but not now. Sorry so very wrong on the parents part.

WRONG, WRONG, AND WRONG!!!!
It is way beyond inappropriate for an 8 year old to see her 16 year old brother naked!!!!! If you think that "nothing funny" is going on you need some serious help. This is sexual abuse and needs to be reported immediately!!!

Both the 8 year old and 16 year old has the right to privacy, if they were 2 and 3 years old it would've been totally appropriate, but there is a limit, and in this case the line has clearly been crossed

If the brother is 16 and the sister is 8, this is inappropriate and illegal.
Although nothing may be happening, this is breeding ground for incestuous relationships. She's 8 and at her age, should be bathing by herself... not seeing her brothers manhood.
