If all of the gods and goddesses believed in on Earth today existed I think we'd have a huge problem. Think wars on earth, between mortal men is bad, imagine a war between gods.

I think the thing with religion is that those who have a god/goddess is that they believe that the diety does exist.

I think there is one God, the same for all religions. Religion, I think, is just a way for people to explain/understand God. Even polytheistic religions, I think it's all one God, one afterlife, just each culture/group of people have a different way to explain it to them.

It can be compared to math...
2+2 = 4
so does 1+3, 4+0, 4*1, 2*2, 8/2... there's one answer even though there are various ways to get to that one answer. Some people would say 2+2 is the easiest way to get to 4, but others may say 4*1... (just a metaphore)

What do you mean IF all the gods and goddesses I worship really existed?

Who would anyone worship a god or goddess that they didn't really believe existed? That would be...well...kinda pointless.

It's possible that they all of the recorded gods and goddesses are just representations of the single supreme being.

God does exist and so does Heaven. And I am truly thankful that He does.

Considering that I do believe that God exists....there's really nothing different than before I read your question.

I would think, "oh ****." Then give the devil horn sign, because I guess my free-thinking was in vain, and I might as well enjoy hell.
