What are some fun shots I can make @ work.( I'm a bartender)?

Question

I have been running dry on ideas for some new shots to serve up on the weekends. I know different areas have different shots that are popular, I thought this would be a good way to find some out.

Tequila, Kahlua and Ouzo

For the Girls.
I assume you have already done Crispy Crunches
1/2 Frangelico
1/2 white Creme de Cacao
shake hard and strain into large shooter (or rocks glass)
ice chips are the crunch.


I always wanted to serve a wine shooter
1/2 dessert wine
1/2 top shelf vodka
Personally I think it would be a sin but, I think many Preppie People would love it.

If you are looking at wowing your guest, it is hard to beat a Flaming Dr. Pepper or and Irish Car Bomb.

Flaming Dr. Pepper

Take a 12oz. mug fill it 3/4 of the way with a light beer. Fill a narrow shot glass with Amaretto and top it off with a floater of 151. Light the shot on fire. The customer drops the shot into the beer extinguishing the flame and drinks it down. It taste just like Dr. Pepper - hence the name.

Irish Car Bomb

Take a 1 1/4 oz shot of Irish whiskey and place it in 12 oz mug. Fill the mug 3/4 from the top with Guinness. Pour a separate shot of Bailey's in a narrow shot glass. Drop the shot in the mug and drink. Taste like a chocolate milkshake.

These are popular shots at the Texas bar that I frequent and add up ticket sales to increase tips.

The following fun shot is known as a "BABY GUINNESS" because when u make it ,it looks just like a freshly poured Guinness Beer.
You will need "KAHLUA",and "BAILEYS IRISH CREAM" and a shot glass.
1.Fill the shot glass 3/4 of the way with the "KAHLUA"
2.Place a spoon (UPSIDE DOWN) over the shot glass and carefully drizzle the "BAILEYS IRISH CREAM" over the backside of the spoon allowing it to fill the rest of the glass without disturbing the "KHALUA" and resting on top.You must have a steady hand and be sure to layer the cream carefully.
3.You're done.It looks exactly like a GUINNESS STOUT BEER.
4.Recite an Irish toast and swallow.
NOTE**********Both liquors should be cold before attempting.

There is a site called bartenders.com that prolly has some ideas. Alien secretion seems to be a big one, as does red headed sluts. The bartenders where I go just start throwing stuff together, and having people try it. Those are usually the most interesting, and provide the most entertaiment at the end of the evening. ;)

Cherry Blow Pop recipe
1/3 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/3 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/3 oz grenadine syrup

Cherry Cheesecake recipe
3/4 jigger vanilla schnapps
fill with cranberry juice

Flaming Pumpkin
1/2 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
1/2 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
1/4 oz Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps

half Red Bull

(supposed to come in martini glass, but a highball will work too)
mix Melon and splash of sour, pour in glass
take Chambord and just fill up the "triangle" in the glass
Layer a thin line of Jager on top
Then drink it down like a shot!!
Looks cool and it's tasty too!!

Try a Royal Flush. There are lots of variations but it includes (roughly in equal parts):
1) Crown Royal
2) Chambord
3) Peach schnapps

1pt Captain
1pt SoCo
1pt Peach Schanpp's
splash - blue ciraco (not too much...this is for the dirty)
splash- chambord
tinybit-sourmix

I know it sounds gross but it's sooooo good! Also - try replacing the sour w/ redbull - yummy - too. The first couple tiem you make it it'll probably be too blue but once you master it, ti looks perfect. And don'y worry - it tastes good even when you F up a little

Try vodka, triple sec and lime juice and a triple shot glass. Its stout but man it gets yah going
