NO definatly NO. Why would you want brown? You should go with white or one of your colors. Brown just seems dirty.

Yes, Brown goes with lots of nice colours like green or purple or pink. You need variation in colour with all the different bits and bobs you have to chose. Brown napkins could be really nice....

This may sound a bit silly, but, many people choose colors for the place settings of the reception based not only on color, but on personal tastes.
A shade of brown that matches the sand of your favorite beach, for instance, is a statement if your reception theme is "beachy".
If you want brown, cool !!! I'd just suggest making a whole reception theme to make it personal for you and your new spouse. Good Luck !

Brown? ok, why not do cream ones with brown edging or something to blend, you could do brown table dressings with cream napkins and accessories etc!

You can use any color you wish, it's your day. Just make certain that the color won't bleed. Went to a wedding, purple napkins, everyone looked cyanotic. Best Wishes!!!

You should be able to get them at any party supply store. They usually have a wide assortment of colors. Check your local yellow pages.

It really matters if it matches the other decorum or not. I would go with a light beige, but not brown. But if you like it, go for it! It's your day and no one can say no.
