Hmm, this is interesting because I have been in many interracial relationships and have never had a problem- i mean, realistically, when you are in an interracial relationship that isnt as noticable (white and spanish, versus white and black) then I think there is less of a notice. I think that less and less people are making a big deal out of it this day and age. Also, I agree that it depends on where you are in the world too. I mean, there are so many places you can go and see 2 men walking down the street holding hands, where as other places they would be tied to a tree and beat! So, if you are in an interracial couplehood and arent comfortable where you are, then maybe you should consider moving to a more diverse community.

Some people just don't approve of interractial relationships. I look at it as ignorance. Nobody and I do mean NObody can choose any one for anybody. If that who you choose so be it. When I see interracial relationships at the store or where ever. I don't have a problem with it. It doesn't bother me and I don't make racial comments like some people do. Some people don't care and have no heart and that is the way some of them were raised. So stop worryin about something that you can't help. If that what you choose to be with...oh well. Everyone else will just have to deal with it and move on. If a white woman/man or whoever makes you happy, I say go for it. What is wrong with you being happy??? Nothing, Go for it and don't think of others.

nicely that on relies upon! For me a open dating can merely paintings one way. i could have open family members and my you should be open to the certainty that i'm having an open dating!! lol No truthful in the experience that your significant other is desirous to have a so pronounced as open dating? the two you greater useful be a competent looking optimistic women or you may get the delight as he's doing. the sole reason he might request that may not by potential of any potential of saving a marriage yet for him to have intercourse with different women by using fact he thinks yawls intercourse existence is uninteresting. Or he's desirous to get out consumer-friendly as against a divorce by using fact the two one among ensue in an open marriage you are able to kiss you help if any good by potential of whilst signing papers. Lesson i'm being very blunt and that i'm sorry if I seem hurtful yet its what he's questioning. it is not love anymore. as quickly as a pair does it somewhat is merely a count of time until somebody ought to pass insane and do something very undesirable that merely takes a sec to tug a sequence off yet a existence time of be apologetic approximately. no longer saying this would take place to you yet that may not love. Actually Lil Bit, salt and pepper goes very well together. People fear what they do not know and its sad that our society thinks and feels this way. Life is so short and ignorance is bliss. Living where I live it is darn near illegal to date a white man or have a black man date a white woman. I don't know about you but I don't think God revealed Adam's or Eve's skin tone. I maybe wrong because I have been known to be wrong once or twice in my life. Anyway, the point is this if we as individuals stop letting society dictate who we can date or marry then the world would be a better place. We are all human being created by God and HE has someone for everyone. If God Almight doesn't care about COLOR THEN WHY SHOULD WE? WE NEED TO STOP BEING AFRAID TO TAKE A CHANCE ON LOVE NO MATTER WHO IS WILLING TO LOVE US. AS FOR SAME SEX COUPLES I DON'T AGREE WITH THAT BECAUSE THAT DOESN'T LINE UP WITH GOD'S WILL. AS FAR AS INTERRACIAL DATING AND MARRIAGES I SAY TO HECK WITH SOCIETY AND GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sware I saw this question yesterday. It comes up so much that it is shocking.
It's 2006 almost 2007. I just can't understand with all the problems the world faces today how two people with different skin color is an issue at all.
Anyone who doesn't like it, really need to get a life. They can open a newspaper and find a million REAL problems that they should be worried about.

interracial relationships didnt use to be a problem in the near past, 1800's then it was class/casts intermarriage that use to raise temperatures.
it is a thing that will change, it might take years. we like to know our place in society, especially if we are on the bottom of the class ladder, interracial relationships upset the norm. ignorance breeds fear, fear generate aggression and intolerance. unfortunately, there will always be someone that we must pick on, it re-inforces our own value system and our sense of self-worth.

Some people just ascribe to sticking with their own "tribe", and it's a shock should they see someone of different features, hair texture, color together...I admit, it can be glaring because it's obvious. But I also think it depends on which "race" is going with what...black and white, sure to get the "look" and trailing eye! I find myself doing it, but then I just shrug my shoulders and go about my business. Don't get me wrong, I don't stare 'n ****, it just gets your attention...honestly! When it gets down to it, it's a matter of which race is going with what; there was an article in the Washington Post detailing the specifics. Black was at the "bottom" when the "preference" question came up.

Because unfortunately some people are inherently racist. Either it's in their genes or they were raised in a family/society which deemed it acceptable. I think it's very sad that in 2006 people still have problems with inter-racial relationships. I think they're fantastic and wish there was more worldwide acceptance. I am very attracted to black men and have dated a few, though there aren't too many where I live.

Some people have a really hard time minding their own damned business.
I was once in a relationship with a white man from South Africa. We got it from both sides, Black people and White people.
I have also dated a couple of Asian men. We didn't experience any real problems.
I think two minorities dating is accepted more than if a minority dated a White person.

Yep, true lots of people say they are open to interraicial relationships but if personally faced with the delima they will not go through with it For instance it is harder to get a white male to date a black female but a white female will date a black male, it has to do with societal pressure if a white man marries a black woman he will not be taken seriously in the business world or he will be snubbed by the "upper crust" of society also white females tend to date black men to satisfy their curiosity about the myth, but many would not seriously be in a relationship with one like marriage in everyday middle class society.. Prejudice still exists no matter how many people try to fool themselves
