this is what i usually do...
Go to the store
Start with a meat of some sort. I usually use steak because of the protein and i love the taste. Then find vegetables that you like. I ALWAYS use garlic and some sort of onion. Other things i use are mushrooms, asparagus, Red,Green,Orange,Yellow Pepper, and other vegetables you like. Also get some herbs. such as rosemary, chives, parsley, tarragon. these add so much flavor.
so to cook
In a pot boil water for pasta (i use the little tubes) or rice.
if your cooking pasta get the water boiling right away the pasta takes a little while to soften.
Then in a pan put in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. this makes everything taste so much better and prevents sticking. Cut up all the veggies and throw them in the pan. put the peppers in later, they are better when slightly cooked. cook till desired. Then put aside. In another pan, cook your meat
if you are using a cow product, use a-1 sauce, worshester sause and RED wine. these three bring out the flavor really well.
if you are using chicken, use WHITE wine alone. You can also use chiken broth.
then cook till desired.
SERVE
This all seems like a lot but it really isnt. It is a fast easy meal. Also it tastes really good! Do some recepie searches online. Usually the fewer the ingredients, the faster it will be.
well good luck

OK, how about real Louisiana gumbo served over rice and crackers on the side.
first boil skinless boneless chicken thighs until they are done. then add sausage of your choice.
second add cut up celery, onions and bell pepper.
third add roux (you can buy this already made up or make it yourself) its not hard just brown flour like u were making a gravy.the secret is to use a black cast iron skillet and rub the flour with a spatula until its all brown.
fourth add salt pepper and tony chacheres for flavor
bring it to a boil
then the secret ingredient
as its boiling add raw eggs as if u were putting them in a cake.
do not stir for 3 to 5 minutes
then
turn the fire down to low and let simmer for about 20min
its really easy to make and its delicious.
good luck and i hope u try it

Okay, here goes!
My daughters make this alot and it is wonderful!! It is called "WILLIBAUM" (not sure of spelling).
Take a large package of Doritos, crumble and spread over the bottom of a long casserole dish. (spray w/pan spray first). Fry up ground beef (enough to cover the Doritos); mix hamburger w/ cream of mushroom soup and rotel tomatoes; pour over Doritos, and top w/ shredded cheese. Bake til cheese is melted at approx. 350 degrees (approx. 10 min.) Let set for 5 minutes and serve.
I like to mix sausage and hamburger to mine and we always make a double or triple batch, so that is why it is hard to determine the exact amount of hamburger to add.
But, it is swonderful!!
Next,
5-CAN CASSEROLE
1 sm. can turkey or chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can chinese (chow mein) noodles
1 sm. can eveporated milk
Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into buttered casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Serve with heat-n-serve dinner rolls.
Very good!!!
I have a wonderful recipe for a mexican casserole using tamales
as a filling. Email me later and I will give it to you. I have to look for it. lildragonlexiatyahoodotcom

Great question because I love to cook. How about chicken breast browned in olive oil. Remove from the pan and sautee some mushrooms, garlic cloves, roma tomatoes, and add some thick cream to make a white sauce. Add your chicken back to your mixture and pour over your favorite pasta noodles. You can top with more tomatoes and your favorite cheese. Bon Apetite

One of our favorites is a big salad (from a bag), with 2 Tyson crispy chicken tenders, cut up on top, with your favorite dressing. Add cheese and a hard boiled egg if you want. Yummy, fast and easy.

Omlets are great. You mix eggs and a little milk, then fry it in skillet. Before you flip half over add onions, cheese, mushrooms and cooked meat if you like. You can also add other veggies.
MMMMMMMMMM Goooood!
