Normal, not really. Abnormal, not really. I have quite a few cats myself, not quite that many. They are all neutered and spayed. They are well fed. They get plenty of attention. They all have names and know their names.
I live in a average size town, I have recently found out there are at least a dozen or more people that probably have 35 cats or more. They all take very good care of them, with vaccinations and spaying or neutering.
People with one or two cats can't imagine having dozens of them. I used to think that of kids. How could you handle 6 or 8 kids at a time and they'd say it isn't a big deal. Well, it's the same with cats if not easier. A cat doesn't depend on you like a kid. If you can handle 2 or 3 cats, having 30 or more really isn't any big deal. All they want is some love and attention.

It's not normal to want 47 cats but it's normal to go from 2 to 47 fast if you don't get them nuetered and spayed or if you are a sucker for strays. Since you asked about answers for your other Qs, I looked at them. I don't have answers for them but I'm not surprised that most of them are about making money fast. That's one mighty large group of mouths to feed for someone with a three year old, too. Give him anything but a pet at this time.

Hell no. There is definately something wrong with you.
unless...you are rich and have suitable facilities to handle all those cats. You should be taking each to the vet for regular checkups, teeth cleanings and needed health care. They should not be bothering neihbors or making smell, noise or causing an inbalance on the environment. Pretty much, you should be a licensed breeder. Many places that is illegal and some you need a license for each cat.

I dont think that it is not normal and I dont think that it is normal. If you like cats then go for it! But cats need lots of affection and I think it would be hard to give 47 cats equal attention and affection!

If I knew what your other question was I would answer it. But I don't. 47 cats are unhealthy. maybe your real question is about excess in general. Everything in moderation etc.

Normal, no. Most people have 1 to 5. But it's ok. Unless they're kittens and less than 1 month old, you could give some of them away, or sell them. You could even take some of them to the humane society, but I'd be hesitant to do that.

no it's not normal, it's cruel and not socialized properly and are probably all feral.
the reason questions like this get about 100 answers because people get mad at the stupidity of the person asking the question

Because it is a quick way to earn points and most people are so shocked that someone could be"seriously" even entertaining the idea of something so proposterous. Interesting question though! :)
