No, I meant all that looks valuable, is....apparently. What is fooling people...I could of said it as 'is not gold' but it meant the same to me

What is considered valuable. Love, above all things, God above all beings. Sorry, that is my opinion. I just wanted to see deceptions and misconception. Wisdom and knowledge. Can be valuable but also damning. That is putting value in yourself, over others. Physical, emotional, tangible things change and fade. What is here and now, in your world, will change. Life itself is finite, here. Should it be valued?

The saying is "all that glitters is NOT gold" - it means that things one might think are of value end up being worthless.

The most valuable thing to me is my relationship with God followed by my husband and family and friends.

Material goods, will nice, are just things and bring no happiness!

`The quote is "all that glitter is NOT gold." I'd think that the person who uttered your quote is a fool and/or uneducated.

There is no answer for your question. It depends on the circumstances. If I'm stranded in the desert, a bottle of water would be most valuable. Sitting at home, it's practically worthless.

I dont know I think he is a newcomer, and as far as your question is concered I would say that glitter is something that attracts the naked eye, but that does not mean it is gold. And most valuable to me would be spiritiaully evolving. I wish you well

Actually, the saying is "all that glitters is not gold". What is most valuable to me is my relationship with Jesus.

The actual saying is: "all that glitters is NOT gold".

Which means that we are very often fooled by appearances.

My husband brought home a plaque with this saying on it & hung it in our home.....

THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE.......
......ARE NOT THINGS

I agree with him.. The best things in life are those we love & those who love us...

We also have this plaque in our home.. Another gift my husband brought home.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take...
But by the moments that take our breath away...
