AT THIS AGE YOU NEVER BATHE WITH THEM!!!!
IF THEY ARE FINE AND HEALTHY YES.
UNLESS YOU CANNOT GET THEM TO TAKE ONE ON THERE OWN AND THEY STINK REAL BAD THEM AS A PARENT YES I SAY STEP IN AND LOCK THEM IN THE BATHROOM BUT DO NOT BATHE THEM. THAT IS JUST SICK!
ALSO IF THEY ARE SICK AND NOT FEELING WELL OR HAVE A HIGH FEVER THEM YES PUT THEM IN A TUB TO GET THE FEVER DOWN AND THEM FEELING BETTER. BUT THIS IS ONLY IF THERE LIVE WAS AT RISK.

Of course its wrong at that age.....by the age of 12 a girl or a boy has started to develope if not well developed in the case of todays children and it is highly inappropriate. A child that age needs to have their privacy respected, only an overbearing or very sick parent would still be involved in bath time at this age, my grand daughters are 8 and 5 and have been bathing themselves for a while with very little assistance from their parents, at some point they have learn to do things on their own its called autonomy. But 12 is far too old to still need assistance if you are then there is seriously something wrong and that parent should possibly be investigated by the Child Welfare Services.

How has this become an issue for you? Some girls get their periods as young as 9. If a kid is healthy and old enough to go through puberty, they're WAY past the age at which you should stop bathing them yourself. And that's not even taking into account the fact that you're mentioning taking a bath WITH them. What do you think would happen if you did this and then the child went to school thinking it was normal--which it's not in the US--and told the teacher or some other kids? You'd have child services knocking on your door within minutes.

I think 12 is a little too old to still be bathing with a parent, By that age, Children DEFINITELY know the differences between a man and a woman...Matter of fact, they're almost teenagers.

Why on earth would you WANT to bathe with a child that old anyway?!?!?

I think it is inopropriate! Even if they need assistance in bathing if it were a disability or some thing, an adult being naked and bathing with them is not at all apropriate! At that age they are old enough to be independant to bath and take care of there personal hygene with out the parents! I could never emagine taking a bath with my 10 year old son... it would feel very wrong!

yeah I'd say it isn't right 12 is too old to be taking a bath with your parent by 12 they should definitely know how to bathe themselves they shouldn't even be taking baths still I think by 12 they should have graduated to showers by now why in the world would a 12 year old other then a special needs child need someone else to give them a bath i think a 4 year old or even a 3 year old is too old to be taking a bath with one of their parents not to old to be supervised but definitely too old to take one with them

Ewww, yes!!! 12-year-olds are starting to develop their secondary sexual characteristics (breasts, etc.) and they're probably acquiring body hair at that age too. All of those reasons make them more of an adult than a child, and bathing with them, while it may seem perfectly innocent, takes on a whole new context in most people's minds. Besides, most 12-year-olds don't even want you in their bedroom, let alone their shower. They need privacy at that age.

I really think it is wrong. Here is why, if they are normal (This is not including mentally challenged children) I believe that a boy of that age needs to learn to have his own privacy. Children have to do things on there own. They will learn that parents don't need there space and that know sexuality is okay of both sexes, may cause them to be more okay with early sex as a young adult!

I would think at that age the child would want to be alone during bath time. This is an age where privacy is usually pretty important.

Of course its wrong!!!!!!!! at that age, a daughter or son can end up having a bath with any stranger because mommy always does it with me!!!! I'm telling you, if you don't want to end up in jail, I advise you to stop doing this. Well however is doing it anyway!

Why would a parent want to take a bath with a child that big?
It sounds like paedophilia to me!
