These two are the only large files I have put on my computer. Sometimes a lot now, when I'm at the Desktop Window and right click or double click a icon(it can be any icon to a file or program) and/or click OPEN, I recieve a error mesg. saying "EXPLORER Has A Error And Needs To Close." From there I can only click on the error mesg. button that saids OK and watch as the computer restarts its self, leaving me to have to start all over again with whatever I was working on. So far I see no lose data in my files but I'm sure there must be some where. And about this "GRAPHIC CONTROLER" needing to be replaced. Why? and why did it go bad?My OS is XP Home w/ the sp2, virtual merory seting is 384MB. When answering Please I am a baby to the computer lingo, try and talk in very plane terms so I will understand. If you need more space to answer E-mail me I will be thankfull. As always if you need more Info I will try and help within reason( don't want no hacking in my computer)

There may be dozens of causes or possibilities that your computer crashes like what you are experiencing.. Some of them are (in no partcilular order):
1. virus or spyware
2. program errors (windows or softwares may need to be reinstalled)
3. lack of harddisk space
4. hardware failure
5. lack of memory
etc..
So you need to check all these.. I dont think something is wrong wrong with your graphic controller.. unless if there is a hardware problem with it.. But normally graphics controller are ok if you dont use it for rendering 3d graphics or high resolution games..

If you are saying that you get error msg by just opening any file or running any program .. maybe you need to narrow down on these:

1. Reinstall Windows
2. increase your system memory (512 mb is recommended nowadays with software that demand higher memory usage)
3. considering "cleaning" your memory by using anti-spyware or anti-virus and memory clean-up tools.. Try googling "clean up memory" .. there are lots of free or demo sofware available but be sure you trust the site

If you are still unsure I suggest you ask a friend or technician knowledgeable and willing to help you with this

I hope you'll be able to fix this problem soon!!

Put the pictures onto CD. If that does not help, try taking your computer to a computer repair specialist and see if they can diagnose the problem. If no problem is found, it could be that your computer is too old and you need to get a new one.
