Jews are not supposed to have any particular beliefs, positive or negative, about Jesus. He's simply not part of the religion. Same would be with Buddha, for example.

If you intend to invoke the question of "Liar, Lunatic, or Lord," The Jewish answer would be "None of the Above," because the 'L3' argument is based on acceptance of the New Testament as historical record. Only Christians would view the New Testament as a valid historical record, not Jews.

For any man to claim that he is God is idolatry. However, some Jews don't believe that Jesus himself claimed to be God, that this was claimed for him by those followers who wrote the Christian scriptures. Some consider Christianity a heresy of Judaism. Most probably just think of it as a different religion, one among many in the world. Different religion, different beliefs.

no he dose not have to be a liar

personally I think his words were twisted out of context and perverted after he died. Remember the first Gospel was written about 50 years after Jesus death that means anyone that heard what he said was not around for what would be written down.

Jesus' disciples believed he became the Messiah particularly than God, pronounced multiple cases via Peter in Mark's gospel (it is the oldest checklist). It became no longer till his trial whilst Jesus became asked the question "Are you the son of the Blessed One (God)" to which Jesus replied "sure" whilst he became seen greater with the aid of fact the son of God via his disciples particularly than a prophet or the Messiah. additionally Jesus (apparently) rose from the lifeless, something that no different prophet can boast which places him above them. to no longer point out the consecration whilst Jesus looked above Moses and Elijah signifying that he's not an insignificant prophet. i'm no longer unquestionably a Christian, I in basic terms studied faith.

im a jew n inat is very right.
as for divineness - jews always refer god as their parent - a prayer book will refer god as our father our king...
therefor it may be that the statments about jesus being the son of god were just like any other jew who says their the sons n daughters of god...
i also dont think jesus was aware that he'd be the begining of a new religion

Yeah, pretty much. Maybe he was actually OK, and his followers twisted everything.

No.
We believe that God is ONE and has NO BLOOD RELATIVES.
We also believe that Jesus never said he was divine; this was said by his followers.

Im not jewish, but I believe that they think he is a liar for calling himself God's son and the messiah. That is why they wanted him crucified...which to them was blasphemy.

JEWISH MOTIVATION TO KILL JESUS

Matthew 26:57-68
Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas the high priest, in whose house the scribes and the elders had gathered. But Peter was following him at a distance, as far as the courtyard of the high priest; and going inside, he sat with the guards in order to see how this would end. Now the chief priests and the whole council were looking for false testimony against Jesus so that they might put him to death, but they found none, though many false witnesses came forward. At last two came forward and said, "This fellow said, "I am able to destroy the temple of God and to build it in three days.' " The high priest stood up and said, "Have you no answer? What is it that they testify against you?" But Jesus was silent. Then the high priest said to him, "I put you under oath before the living God, tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God." Jesus said to him, "You have said so. But I tell you, From now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven." Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "He has blasphemed! Why do we still need witnesses? You have now heard his blasphemy. What is your verdict?" They answered, "He deserves death." Then they spat in his face and struck him; and some slapped him, saying, "Prophesy to us, you Messiah! Who is it that struck you?"

Luke 22:63-71
Now the men who were holding Jesus began to mock him and beat him; they also blindfolded him and kept asking him, "Prophesy! Who is it that struck you?" They kept heaping many other insults on him. When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, gathered together, and they brought him to their council. They said, "If you are the Messiah, tell us." He replied, "If I tell you, you will not believe; and if I question you, you will not answer. But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God." All of them asked, "Are you, then, the Son of God?" He said to them, "You say that I am." Then they said, "What further testimony do we need? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips!"

JESUS CLAIMS TO BE THE RESURRECTION & THE LIFE
John 11:24-27
Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." Martha said to him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day." Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" She said to him, "Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one coming into the world."

JEWISH PERSECUTION OF JESUS
John 5:9-30
Now that day was a sabbath. So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, "It is the sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat."But he answered them, "The man who made me well said to me, "Take up your mat and walk.' " They asked him, "Who is the man who said to you, "Take it up and walk'?" Now the man who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had disappeared in the crowd that was there. Later Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, "See, you have been made well! Do not sin any more, so that nothing worse happens to you." The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. Therefore the Jews started persecuting Jesus, because he was doing such things on the sabbath.

But Jesus answered them, "My Father is still working, and I also am working." For this reason the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because he was not only breaking the sabbath, but was also calling God his own Father, thereby making himself equal to God. Jesus said to them, "Very truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise. The Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing; and he will show him greater works than these, so that you will be astonished. Indeed, just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes. The Father judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son, so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life. "Very truly, I tell you, the hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself; and he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. Do not be astonished at this; for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and will come out - those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. "I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek to do not my own will but the will of him who sent me.

JESUS ACKNOWLEDGES HIS LORDSHIP & ACCEPTS WORSHIP
John 9:35-41
Jesus heard that they had driven him out, and when he found him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" He answered, "And who is he, sir? Tell me, so that I may believe in him." Jesus said to him, "You have seen him, and the one speaking with you is he." He said, "Lord, I believe." And he worshiped him.

Jesus said, "I came into this world for judgment so that those who do not see may see, and those who do see may become blind." Some of the Pharisees near him heard this and said to him, "Surely we are not blind, are we?" Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would not have sin. But now that you say, "We see,' your sin remains.

JEWS SOUGHT TO KILL JESUS FOR CALLING HIMSELF GOD'S SON
John 10:25-38
Jesus answered, "I have told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name testify to me; but you do not believe, because you do not belong to my sheep. My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father's hand. The Father and I are one." The Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus replied, "I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these are you going to stone me?" The Jews answered, "It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you, but for blasphemy, because you, though only a human being, are making yourself God." Jesus answered, "Is it not written in your law, "I said, you are gods'? If those to whom the word of God came were called "gods' - and the scripture cannot be annulled - can you say that the one whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world is blaspheming because I said, "I am God's Son'? If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me. But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father."
