I didn't know how else to put this, so I just came out and said it. I know not every single black woman gets mad when she sees white women w/ black men, and in fact many do not, but it seems like a lot of black women get mad when they see white women with black men, yet a lot of black women date white men? So why do they get mad?

if the women you know get mad because they see white women and black men together,those women probably don't date white men either.i could give many reasons for this,but none make any sense any more,love needs no explanation.

Ray, I can really only speak for myself, and it has nothing to do with rejection. There is a growing population of successful, educated black men, myself included, who have the opportunity to date whoever we are attracted to. For many of us, that includes white women. So, it's more about preference than anything else. I guess there are still people out there who choose to believe it is happening for other reasons. I'm sure it is in some cases, but I suspect you will be seeing a lot more of it for the reason I gave.

It is not what you think it is. Why are you so overly sensitive anyway? Are you telling me white men aren't angry when they see you two together? Regardless if they're with a black woman, they'll still not like it. Give me a break. I've seen hispanics and asians act the same way in similar circumstances. Every mixed couple experiences the same thing. You are not special. And if you can't handle it, go back to white men. So, stop thinking it's a "Black thing."

I'm still a little shocked at your question. You really have it messed up if you think that black women gets man over that Its far More complicated then what you think... Black women have been struggling for 400 years in America next to there black men. I'm all for date who you want to date, but I'm not for date because of the color. White men have told black men for years that white women are better the ***** women.. therefore black men seems to think they are better... It like seeing gold all of the time and never being able to get it... Now you can have it and you think it a prize (white women) and black women feel pushed aside

Not all but some feel this way. Also, I'm sure if it was a white woman seeing a white man with a black woman some might feel the same way also. It's because of insecurities.

The old double standard! darling, I like men, all kinds, any race that's just me, but doesn't it seem that the whites get the good ones, the distinguished ones, the famous ones, wealthy ones, makes you want to go hummmmm............Its just some of us that feel that way, personally; I say love comes in all flavors, and I'm gonna get me some-a-that.Let that little green monster kiss my grits! All those that don't like it, too bad. It doesn't change my life. I don't worry about what I can't change.

Well some people want their cake and eat it too. Some white women are like that too. It is the individual. Most black women that are getting mad don't date white men so they feel like black men are in high demand and that one that is with a white women is off the market for them. Don't get it twisted please!

I think because they can. But then again, does it really matter who someone dates? No. In fact, if it doesnt directly have anything to do with you- I say ignore it. It's that person's business, not ours. And as long as it doesnt affect me, I could care less what someone else does....
But a side note- a lot of blk mn/wht wmn relationships have been viewed more negatively than the opposite. I think it has to do with the abundance of those types of relationships in society.

Black women are possessive over their men. Watch "Save The Last Dance". It is explain very well why black women don't like seeing that. But get use to it because its never going to change reality.
