I have an Athletics Works sports watch. When I changed to Daylight Savings time it went to military time. How do I get it back to a 24 hr. setting? the numbers on the back are AW133 285 2728

Watch setup instructions
for the Armitron Instalite All-Sport :

Mode B / \ C Date
| |
Light A \ / D Alarm

_____________________________________

Set time time / date

Press and hold B (Mode) untill alarm hours flash
Press D (Alarm) to advance these

Press B (Mode) again, seconds will flash,
press D (Alarm) to advance these

Press C (Date), minutes flash, press D to advance these

Press C again, hours flash, press D to advance these

Press C again, month flashes, press D to advance these

Press C again, Date flashes, press D to advance these

Press C again, Date flashes, press D to advance...... [suggestion from Chikita]]

Activating/Deactivating Hourly Chime

1. From "Normal Time Mode", press and hold "D" (Alarm) and
at the same time press "C" (Date) once. Hourly chime symbol,
( a house shape) appears in "chime" windows to indicate
the hourly chime will beep every hour.

Activatin/Deactivating Alarm

2. With "D" (Alarm) still pressed, press "C" (Date) again. Alarm symbol
( a clock shape with waves above it) appears in the
upper right to indicate the 24 hour alarm is now activated.

[I assume this "toggles" between off and on states,
so performing it again should turn off the alarm]

Message from Dean

Just a note to say "thanks" for the instructions on setting up my watch. It came without instructions and when it got set to 24 hour format instead of 12 hour, it drove me crazy trying to set it back. My watch is a WR165 (it has an EL button below the display, so I'm guessing it's an Eclipse, but that's just a guess) and the buttons are a little different that the one you've diagramed out. (The light and mode buttons are reversed). Using your instructions as a guide, I found out that if you hold down the alarm button (D) and press the mode button (A) the format changes from 12 to 24 hour.

How To Set My Watch

you would need to know the brand.
i know that timex for example has all the instruction for their watch on their website.

usually :
lower left is mode : display time, stopwatch, alarm in cycle.
top right is used to set up the nuber or start stop watch
bottom right is used to set down the number or reset the stopwatch.
the top left is usually a little more difficult to press and is used to set the watch.
Press it a couple of seconds and something starts to blink.
in setup mode, the bottom left is used to choose what to set and the buttons on the right to adjust the values.
try to set it in the afternoon so you can see whether you are in military time. Also if am and pm are both hidden, that would be an indication.
Good luck,

i would say to look at the instructions that came with it and if you don't have them you can go to the place that you purchased it at and either ask them or look for another watch like yours and read the instructions that are with it!!!!!

Good luck!!!
