How came in your religion you can kill, rape babies, drink, and live a life of sin. Spend your whole life making other people miserble, and right at the end, you can ask God for forgiveness, and go to heaven? What about all the people that you have wronged. People on death row, that have a priest to come in, and here's the golden gates come on in. Is Ted Bundy there?

First and foremost i am not at all religous nor am i spiritual. I do not believe in any knd of deity nor do I pray to any god, but the first thing we can do to become smarter as humans is to ask smart questions! Your question is ignorant! Why limit murder or any other act against humanity as only what christians do or are capable of?????There are countless religons around the world, and any one of it's followers can kill, rape, drink, and live a life of wrongdoing-studies show that those in america that are least religous are more prown to living lives of crime anyway-it is in human nature to kill, as any other species of animal, but most of us are just walking around our entire lives with the thought of doing it-we never do!!Like a mother bear protecting her cubs, if anyone was to kill one of our children-we would want revenge!!anyone can also rape, steal, lie, commit adultery!!!!!its not religon that causes inhumanities-it's our thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christianity doesn't condone killing, raping babies (really who does that, it's just wrong and disgusting), and getting drunk (a little in moderation is ok). Considering the fact that no one is perfect, we all live a life of sin. Christianity is all about forgiveness. Jesus died so that we could freely have forgiveness. Yes, you can be on death row and sincerely repent and go to heaven. Ted Bundy could be there if he felt the need to honestly repent and ask God to forgive him. I don't know, but he could be. The thief on the cross next to Jesus had done all kinds of terrible things and he asked for forgiveness and went to heaven. It's open for anyone who believes. Sin is sin in God's eyes. In God's eyes, lieing to your parents is the same as killing someone. It grieves him just the same.

You know, my brother said to me 'f* your god' when I was trying to explain my mistakes. That is what we have done. Made mistakes. Just like you. A man that intentionally does evil, thinking to ask for forgiveness near the end, we are told that these people will be blinded and hardened...they won't get there. And, all the hurt, christian caused and other, is miserable and one can only hope for the best for those who suffer. If Bundy truly saw the light, then he is ready. Maybe those he hurt are more kind to others because of what they experienced... no excuse, as my brother pointed out, but there is an affect.

It doesn't matter if you have a priest come in so you could get saved... You could do that however many times you want to but if you don't believe it then it was all a waste of time... But if Ted Bundy believed in what he said then there's a chance that he might be in heaven. There's a lot of people that was holier than thou but right before they died they sinned nd they didn't have time to repent and that's gonna take them to hell... that's why you should always try to do good because you never know when something bad is gonna happen to you...

Oh dear. You have some really big misconceptions about Christianity.

Have you been hurt by some mouthy Christians?

It's not about just asking for forgiveness. Words mean nothing. God knows what's in our hearts. If we say we're sorry but don't mean it, He knows. No Pearly Gates for you, oh unrepentant one.

Bundy was utterly unrepentant. I'd bet good money he's in the hot place.

Did you know your "witchy" term "Blessed Be" comes from a Catholic prayer? Yuppers. The prayer is called Divine Praises. It's been around since before the burning time. Shortly before the burning time, there were many women who embraced the Anchoritic life. Check out a book called Ancrene Wisse. Good stuff there. You and I have more in common than you might think.

Human nature dictates that when we compare ourselves to others, we tend to see ourselves as more worthy of heaven than [enter favorite "villain of the week" here]. Scripture says that if it were just up to us to judge ourselves, nobody would come under judgment (1 Cor 11:31). We think we're scott-free if we *haven't* "killed, raped babies, drank, and lived a life of sin". What we forget is that we can get away with this self-righteous perspective only for as long as we compare ourselves to other humans.

But if we were to stop and compare ourselves to the perfect goodness of God Himself, then another story emerges. Suddenly the good works of the most squeaky-clean human is as "filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6) in comparison to the goodness of *God*.

We don't have license to pat ourselves on the back just because we aren't a Dahmer or a Bundy. "*All* have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23).

As far as contemplating who ends up in heaven in the end and who doesn't, a verse to ponder is 1 Cor 15:22: For just as in Adam *all* died, so in Christ *all* will be made alive. I have no doubt that God is just as good at fixing humanity as Adam (a mere human for pete's sake, right?) was in screwing it up. ; )

I think that when a person is evil their entire life and right at the end they pray to God and ask forgiveness, it's fake. God can see through everyone, and I just can't imagine that many people who do this are actually repentant and agonizing over their sins. I think that you can rest assured that God will be just. If I see you in heaven, I will know that you deserve to be there.

Christianity does not say that all that horrible behavior is okay, it says that God is merciful. God will even accept you if you repent. But, just like many robbers or rapist that do not repent, if you don't repent, you go to hell with them.
Is that really what your problem is-repent, you just don't want to believe and trust in God, do you? It's not that killing and raping is bad, and it is, its that you just refuse to repent. That is why you are angry isn't it? You know you can not go if you don't change. So you direct your anger at someone else.

The option of salvation is available to you as well, as it is to everyone who lives.

The thing with repentance is that it has to be genuine. God, the searcher of hearts, knows whether or not one is truly sorry and truly believes that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. You can't fake God out.

And if you have come to accept Jesus as Savior and you repent your sins, this is all that is required. And yet you believe it is a simple trick, a sleight of hand. It isn't. One's sin, if one is sorry, never makes anybody feel warm and squishy inside. There is a measure of agony associated with coming to understand the scope and consequences of one's sin.

If you get to know Christ Jesus a little better, you will better come to understand what people are telling you about salvation of your eternal soul.

Basically the only unforgiven sin is blasphemy of the Holy;y Spirit, and rejecting Jesus. But the rewards won't be there when there is sin.
