no, I do not. I believe that after Jesus went to heaven, the men of the church tried to down play the influence of women. I believe that Mary Magdalane was beloved and respected by Jesus.

No. I believe the editors of the Christian bible were not will to accept a woman who was a disiple of Jesus. They did not believe in having sex except for the purpose of having children. They did not want to accept the possibility that Jesus might have taken a wife.
I believe they smeared her.
However, even if she was a lady of the evening, Jesus would accept her and let her change her life.

No, because read the part of the bible when they talk about the prostitute that was saved by Jesus, it does not say that it was Maria Magdalena. History made people to assume that Maria Magdalena was that prostitute.
