I have eaten too much pasta... is there anything I can do to relieve the cramping and bloatedness? What foods should I avoid and which ones are really good for people with IBS?

do you think maybe you should get yourself tested for coeliacs disease too. The sypmtoms are so similar to IBS that is often mis dignosed as such. That would explain whya wheaty product would give you cramps.
